Jack Spratt Ate No Fat…Hells He Ate Sprouts!

I have always wanted to try this soooooo I did! I bought mixed Salad Sprouts in bulk at Planet Organic. Here’s a picture…they look like a variety of beans & seeds (which they are)Salad Mix Sprouting Seeds Bought in Bulk I was instructed by the extremely nice “tree hugging, hemp wearing, dread lock adorning” produce guru in Planet Organic to put seeds into a jar filled with water & covered with cheesecloth (I happened to use pink tulle cuz I had no cheesecloth) & secured with an elastic band. Rinse & refill water 3 times a day for 3 days. They should be starting to sprout.

Finally it’s SALAD TIME!!!

So yummy! Would be fun for the kids to watch this grow & eat all in a matter of a week♥
When you are rinsing, dump water and refill leaving the cheesecloth on. After you see sprouts forming & you dump out water for good, shake up seeds & beans once a day to allow them oxygen. This helps with not allowing them to get moldy. If you see or smell any sign of mold, dispose of.
Peace out VegHeads

Nugget probably wouldn’t get this yet, but I LOVE the idea of doing this when he’s a bit older. Just like you….this is amazing! xoxo
