Morsels of Chocolatey Goodness…Healthy Too, True Dat!

Love this recipe…it’s my favorite 4 things, easy, hardly any ingredients, scrumptious & healthy!

Mini Chocolate-Chip Love Bites

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • scant 1/2 cup applesauce (can sub mashed banana)
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/16 tsp salt
  • 1-2 tbsp mini chocolate chips or chunks (I used Whole Foods brand)
  • 1/2 tbsp freeze-dried raspberries (I buy raspberries & put in the freezer…they are soooo good right now. They crumble up super easy into their little drupelets (yeah I looked that one up).).

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mash the applesauce or banana with the peanut butter, then add all other ingredients and mix until well-combined. Shape into cookies (I used a mini cookie scoop) and bake on a greased cookie sheet for around 14-16 minutes, then let cool 10 minutes before removing from sheet. This makes 18 mini cookies.  They are only 35 calories per cookie….if you care.
