Toooooo Much Salt!!!

This Blog was inspired by watching an episode of Marketplace (see for yourself http://www.cbc.ca/marketplace/episodes/2013/03/great-salt-shakedown.html)… it is all about salt intake & how much sodium we take in with no knowledge of the amount from processed items. Look at the Labels people! I am dissing iodized salt, Salt is a mineral our body requires use Sea Salt.
Salad dressing was one of the many items they showed that was loaded with sodium & it is one of the easiest things to make at home.
Here are a few of my fav salad dressing recipes:
This beet salad is to die for & the dressing, 3 ingredients that you have in the house…olive oil, frozen orange juice & balsamic vinegar….no brainer people…make your own dressing!

You can use a mason jar for storing your home made dressing or you could use one of Weck’s glass container below…I love these! You can get @ Crate & Barrel.
